Reading and Craft
Kids story time and craft hour is almost here! For finest enjoyment, ages 4-10 might be appropriate. We will have a fun craft that the kids can take away as well as a live reading of Old Bess (by me)!
Plus you can do a little yarn and book shopping, drink some coffee, and chat with the amazing owners, Kayla and Eric who are an absolute hoot.

Reading of Old Bess and The Cabin: Texas
Invitations will be sent for this private reading of both Old Bess and The Cabin. Bring a guest, your kids, an open and tender heart, and your lawn chair to 274 Riverview Road. If you would like to come, just RSVP to me and I’ll give you the more of the scoop. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

The Cabin: A Reading
A reading and discussion of The Cabin at the home of this treasure of a woman. Stephanie Gough is deep, funny, brilliant, and full of integrity. I have known her for over 1/2 my life and am sad it’s taken this long to reconnect. Our lives have run parallel in starting a school, our love of a good book, and eventually homeschooling our children. You won’t want to miss this one!

If you are in the Decatur area, let me know. I am doing a reading at the home of Kelly Roibus. Kelly is a woman I have known for a long time. She is familiar with suffering and rebirth and has persevered in hope through many of life’s trials. I respect and admire her tenacity and courage in all things. The Cabin is actually a perfect book to be read in her presence!
